Hey, guys
DailyFTPMedia is the brainchild of Ruby Mago who accepted the call of joining the Foster The People family in the early 2020s. To walk into a room where you don't know anyone is not only exhilarating but also nerve wracking, but absolutely worth the effort. I adore Foster The People so damn much I had to make this blog as a huge thank you for inviting me to share their rock n roll lifestyle. If you're new to FTP like me, have no fear, because this blog is for new and old fans alike to share the love of music from an amazing band.
I'd first heard of Foster The People when their viral hit “Pumped Up Kicks” hit my ears, but it wasn't until “Sit Next To Me” and “Worst Nites” came out that I really started paying attention to the band's art direction and creative aesthetic stretching far beyond their landmark record “Torches”. To be a born again Foster kid is an incredible opportunity I thank the music gods for bestowing upon me when I'd lost everything, but fortunately, I gained so much more in return.
I'd already had sufficient experience blogging for bands since October 2007 reviewing albums for record labels as well as interviewing artists willing to speak to me about their work. After major environmental changes, including some life-altering sacrifices, I finally made it to FTP Land where I feel I'd always been destined to be since birth. I made this little blog hoping to share my love of Foster The People with anyone who loves them.
If you also love Foster The People as much as I do and want to explore their kingdom alongside me, you've come to the right place. Welcome home!
