Have A Great Fourth Of July With Foster The People!

Hey, everyone  Foster The People just uploaded three lyric videos for “ Lost In Space ” on July 3rd, 2024 via the band's YouTube channel. We've entered a new month, which means we're that much closer to the band's fourth album “ Paradise State Of Mind” out August 16th! This was FTP's initial single released on May 31st, but now the boys have added a little something extra for their foreign fans.  Although Foster The People only sing and write music in English, the guys added three lyric videos to their channel for “ Lost In Space ” in Spanish, French, and Portuguese. This makes me feel seen as a Latin American fan, it's cool they take inclusion into consideration. I still don't know if they're going to do the same for their second single “ Take Me Back ”, however. It's a really cool way to ring in the annual Fourth of July as we're in the middle of another banging summer.  Additionally, don't forge...

Foster The People Remix "Houdini"

Hey, everyone  I'm so glad “ Torches ” is making rounds more than a decade later. I remember buying the deluxe vinyl edition the first week of December 2023, but now we're about to receive even more goodness involving Eminem and Dua Lipa . When indie, pop, and rap collide into a smorgasbord of unique sounds, particularly when Mark Foster  is at the helm of this cosmic convergence, only good things come alive. Let's do it, Foster kids! Way the hell back in 2011 Foster The People released their debut “ Torches ” on May 23, featuring smash hits “ Pumped Up Kicks ”, “ Helena Beat ”, and “ Houdini ”. Now, in 2024, Eminem and Dua Lipa join the conversation with their own interpretation of “ Houdini ”. So with that in mind, Mark Foster is shown in a recent clip combining the three tracks into an upbeat mashup by way of a remix. Not a bad move, but will the real “ Houdini ” please stand up? Sometime in May or June of this year I finally buckled down and...

It's been Seven Years Since Foster The People Released Sacred Hearts Club!

Hey, everyone  Foster The People returned during the summer of 2017 when their third album “ Sacred Hearts Club ” hit shelves on July 21st. Adding two touring musicians into the fold after original member Cubbie Fink left in 2015 was not only a smart move, but it also allowed the boys to reinvent their sound as well as their whole aesthetic. It's been seven years since the original release of my favorite FTP album, so obviously, I'm going to post about this underrated gem right here, right now. Let's get it! By the end of the decade Foster The People had reinvented their image by trading in their caps and t-shirts for snazzy leather jackets and shades to let the world know they were back to rock it out. This went well as they resembled the Ramones in certain interviews, and their onstage presence commanded even more energetic attention than previous eras because of their new hard hitting tunes.  On April 27, 2017, Foster The People digitally re...
