The song is not only old-school, classic feel good Foster The People , but it also contains a surprisingly bold move for the California trio: the F-Bomb! So, without further ado, let's fucking go! According to a recent tweet , Mark Foster shared his feelings about what " Take Me Back " means to him. “ This song is about returning to innocence and feeling joy again .” However, as the song is about childhood, Foster shows his age by using an expletive in one of the verses. Both songs are fantastic as I'm enjoying a more pronounced 70s disco vibe similar to “ SHC ”, but I do love “ Lost In Space ” so much more than the new single. Foster The People just released their new single “ Take Me Back ” on their YouTube channel at midnight. This is the second single after “ Lost In Space ” which dropped on May 31st. These songs are featured on Foster The People's fourth album “ Paradise State Of Mind '' which comes out before summer's even over on August 16th. It's not summer until FTP drops a new album! Hey, everyone  Foster The People just announced their next single " Take Me Back " will be out this Wednesday. According to a YouTube community post on June 24th, the band shared a number (310)881-8519 where you can receive a snippet of the new song via a text message to  "get closer to the good times". This is very good news, especially a day after my birthday. Now I don't have to feel so bad about getting older. Foster The People released the initial single " Lost In Space ", accompanied by a video with a heck of a lot of dancing on May 31st, 2024. The band also announced the new album " Paradise State Of Mind"  would be out on August 16th. The thumbnail to this post is the cover art for the new song, and it looks absolutely fabulous.
