Happy Birthday To Isom Innis! 🎂🥂

Hey, guys

On January 7th, 1988, songwriter and producer Isom Innis was born in Nashville, TN,  and his date of birth falls under the star sign of Capricorn. Innis is a talented multi-instrumentalist for Foster The People as well as his side project Peel alongside FTP bandmate Sean Cimino. Before joining he was involved in several projects around the Boston music scene before moving across the country to to become a bonafide rock star.

He lives with his pets, wife and filmmaker Carlson Young in Los Angeles. "Acid Star" and "Paradise State Of Mind" are definitely my top favorite albums of 2024, but overall, "Supermodel" and "Sacred Hearts Club" are my top-tier albums in the band's discography.

Innis and Foster formed their own duo Smims and Belle where they perform popup DJ sets around the world. Here's a quote from Isom about joining the band via the Gaston Gazette in 2017.

Asking me to join the band was super organic and a natural thing. I’ve been collaborating with Mark (Foster), writing and producing for other artists, since 2012. This was the first record we set out, from the beginning, to co-produce and co-write together. It felt like a natural thing for them to say ‘hey, join the band.’”

As Isom is one of my favorite members of FTP I wish him many happy returns today as well as in the future. Check out the video below!

A Product Review Of "Paradise State Of Mind" Ordered From Foster The People's Webstore

Hey, everyone  Ordering Foster The People's new album “ Paradise State Of Mind ” two days before my birthday in mid-June of 2024 was a fun experience. Mind you, I did extensive research on the different color vinyl variants available before selecting the right one via the band's webstore for about two or three weeks until my birthday weekend. This isn't the first time I've snagged an FTP album on wax from their store, because come the first week of December of 2023, I actually purchased the special tenth anniversary edition of “ Torches ” with leftover money after my book deal fell through. I assure you using the Foster The People's webstore both times has been a huge win for me, and today I'll tell you how and why that is.  The end of November wasn't the best as a career deal I'd been anticipating since autumn 2015 shattered before my eyes. I, however, now had a wad of leftover money to burn in any way I pleased, and what better ...
