Hey, everyone
The time has come to huddle around our devices to hear the world premiere of Foster The People's new song “Chasing Low Vibrations”. The track is the third single from Foster The People's forthcoming album “Paradise State Of Mind” out August 16th via Atlantic Records. This, along with the past two songs, complete the trifecta of singles released from the band's fourth record in seven years. I'm so excited, so let's get on with it.
Foster The People dropped “Lost In Space” on May 31st, 2024, followed by “Take Me Back” on June 28th. Now, on July 26th at midnight, the boys are at it again with the third single “Chasing Low Vibrations”. Judging by the results of the last two songs I'm pretty stoked about the next one, which I assume is going to be killer. It's mid-July, and I still have “Lost In Space” on repeat. What will “Chasing Low Vibrations” have in store?
I can't believe time is flying by and July is nearly done. You may be sad that summer is wrapping up, but I'm incredibly stoked that August is right around the corner so I can hold the album in my grubby hands. Everything about this roll out makes me happy. From the press photos to the artwork and singles, I just love all of this.
Mark and Isom make a fantastic team, and I can hardly wait to see what they have up their sleeve. Three days after uploading the first video explaining the many layers of “Lost In Space” they posted another clip further discussing the creation of the track from the studio. By the way, Foster The People wrote and recorded the new album in the same studio the Beach Boys created “Pet Sounds” according to Mark Foster. Do you think the album will pick up a vibe and maybe influence the whole aesthetic of this era? Mark is such a huge fan of the Beach Boys, so it's likely everything he creates will have a touch of all his favorites.
Did you preorder the vinyl and signed CD yet? Since these are exclusive to the band's webstore I don't think they're going to be around much longer after the album comes out. If not, you'll be doomed to order from Amazon and that's not fun. Also, the autographed copy is the same price as the standard edition so you might as well go big.
Get ready for midnight, everyone. Enjoy it!
