Hey, everyone
I don't really have anything to write about today, but I did want to do another photo of the day using Getty Images. As you see I used a song title from one of the outtakes from 2014's “Supermodel” just to do something different. The last photo of the day post I did used a song from “Torches” as the title, so I chose another song. Let's deep dive into it, Foster kids!
On March 27, 2015, Foster The People performed at Citibank Hall in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil alongside Bastille. The thumbnail features Mark Foster and Sean Cimino onstage together jamming it up. Both are outstanding bands in the Indie scene, and it's so cool they shared a stage that night. Perhaps one day they'll tour together? My favorite songs from Bastille are “Quarter Past Midnight” and “Pompeii”.
The next pic I want to share is of Isom and Mark posing for a photoshoot during day one of Austin City Limits 2014. The two pop in at the Samsung Galaxy Owner's Lounge to do a #GalaxyVine on October 4th, 2014 in Austin, Texas. By the looks of it you can already begin to see early signs of Foster The People evolving into a duo. They make such a great team, and I can't wait until I have “Paradise State of Mind” in my grubby little hands.
My last entry was about Foster The People posting various vinyl variants of their new record on Twitter, but they also posted two more on Facebook. One of these is the translucent orange Amazon exclusive which reminds me of the orange copy of “Torches X” and the other is the Barnes and Noble exclusive clear vinyl. They both feature a doodle on the place card either of a caricature's butt or a cartoon holding a sword walking out of a doorway. In my opinion I prefer the blue sparkle or the lime green glow in the dark since I don't like the other variants.
It's less than four weeks until the album is officially released! Are you counting down to August 16th when Foster The People drop their forthcoming record? As a reborn Foster kid this is all very exciting to see up close for the first time since Kicks went viral. It's crazy to think how far we've come on this journey, and I'm super stoked to celebrate this experience with the new era.
Follow Foster The People across all social media platforms for more information about the next chapter.
